Aquinas Academic Programs ::
     Liberal Arts

Overview

The primary goal of the Liberal Arts Program at Aquinas College is to liberate students in the deepest sense of that word by developing their articulate understanding of Truth, thus freeing them to act virtuously and move themselves toward the True Good which they naturally seek. Toward that end, the Liberal Arts Program offers a Bachelors degree with majors in Theology, English and Liberal Arts. Minors are available in a variety of disciplines, complementing this recently established four-year degree. An Associate of Arts degree is also available for those students seeking a two-year course of study rooted in the Catholic liberal arts tradition.

The curriculum is designed in such a way as to fulfill the core requirements of virtually any four-year institution while cultivating students’ sense of God, of self and of the world, realizing their own essential role in building up the human community.
