Admission to the RN to BSN Program

The RN to BSN Program is a completion program that recognizes the prior education and experience of professional nurses. Licensed RNs who are graduates of an NLNAC accredited nursing program will be granted 30 semester hours of academic credit toward the BSN degree.

Admission Requirements

For initial entry into the RN to BSN Program, all admission requirements for the College must be fulfilled. In addition to the College admission requirements, the nursing applicant must meet the following criteria:

  • Graduate of an NLNAC accredited Diploma or Associate Degree Nursing Program. (Graduates of non-accredited programs may be considered for admission after validation testing).
  • Current Licensure in Tennessee as a registered nurse (RN) in good standing.
  • Submission of two (2) recommendation forms from professional references (one should be a supervisor).

Admission Process

  1. Complete an Aquinas College Application.
  2. Designate that you will be applying for the RN to BSN Program on the application.
  3. Call (615) 297-7545 to speak with an Enrollment Representative.
