RN to BSN FAQ

How long will it take me to complete the RN to BSN Program?
The completion time can be different for each student. It depends how many courses in the curriculum you still need to finish. Your advisor can give you this information after analyzing your college transcripts.

When are classes offered?
Most classes are available in the evening on an accelerated schedule (lasting only 4-8 weeks).

Will I have to do "clinicals"?
Family and Community Health Nursing, Advanced Adult Health Nursing, and Leadership/Management courses have experiential components. These components are project-driven and are completed by the student in much the same way as any out-of-class assignment. Senior Practicum and Seminar is comprised almost entirely of a clinical project. The student works one on one with an expert preceptor.

How do I enroll?
To enroll, please contact the Admissions Office at (615) 297-7545, ext. 428, to speak with the RN-BSN Admissions Counselor.
