More and more home schooled students are choosing Aquinas College every year. Our challenging curriculum directed toward the development of the whole person and our low student-to-faculty ratio make Aquinas College an ideal fit for home schooled students. Please complete the following steps to apply:
1. Submit Application and a $25 non-refundable fee: The application and fee can by submitted using our online Application for Admission.
2. Provide a transcript. Submit an official transcript from your home school agency. Recently we have accepted students from home school agencies including Kolbe, Mother of Divine Grace, Our Lady of the Rosary, and Seton Home School.
3. Standardized Test Scores: If you are under 21 years of age, or if you have been out of school fewer than five years, an official ACT score report is required. If your ACT and/or SAT scores do not appear on your high school transcript, you should request that the testing service send them directly to Aquinas College. Use the following codes:

4. Immunization Records: Complete and submit an Immunization Certificate at least one week prior to registration.
Successful applicants must present one of the following:
• Minimum GPA of 2.3 and a minimum composite ACT score of 21 or an SAT score of 990 in Critical Reading and Math.
• Minimum GED score of 50 on the paper test and 500 on the computerized test and a minimum composite ACT score of 21 or an SAT score of 990 in Critical Reading and Math.
Applicants who do not meet the minimum criteria may be considered for conditional admission pending assessment test scores and/or other conditions specified by the Admissions Committee. For more information, please consult your Admissions Counselor.
Any student who is conditionally admitted to the college on academic probation will be required to complete successfully IDS 106: College Learning in the Dominican Tradition, in the first semester of attendance.
At the discretion of the Director of Admissions, assessment tests may be given in English and math. Generally, assessment tests are required for:
• Applicants over 21 years of age who do not have post-secondary education
• Applicants who score below 21 on the English or math sections of the ACT or below 500 on the critical reading and math sections of the SAT
• Applicants who score below 50/500 on the English or math sections of the GED
Federal law requires all institutions of higher education to disclose information about campus safety, graduation rates, student’s rights under FERPA, and other data about the institution.
