Admission Requirements
Transfer Students
If you have have attended college before applying to Aquinas College, please follow these four steps to apply as a transfer student:
1. Submit Application: Please complete an Application for Admission.
Applicants to the RN-to-BSN program, please also submit a completed RN-to-BSN Program Application. (For new students only.)
Current ASN students, please use RN-to-BSN Program Application for Current ASN Students.
2. Request official transcripts by submitting a Transcript Release Form to all post-secondary institutions you have attended. If you have fewer than 30 credit hours of college-level work, you will also need to request official transcripts from your high school.
3. Immunization Records: Complete and submit Immunization Certificate at least one week prior to registration.
4. Application Fee: The $25 non-refundable application fee is payable through the online application. If using a different application method, please submit the $25 fee to:

Admission Criteria
Successful transfer applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.3 on college coursework completed within the last 10 years. (Coursework completed more than 10 years ago is excluded from the GPA calculation.)
Assessment Tests
Transfer students whose college/university transcripts do not reflect credit in at least remedial English and math will be required to take assessments.
Transfer students who have completed ENG 112 (or equivalent) will be given an English essay assessment at registration/orientation. Students who do not pass this writing assessment will be required to enroll in ENG 113. Students scoring a 21 or higher on the English section of the ACT are exempt from this writing assessment.
