The Psychological and Social Implications of Being “Plugged In”

Presented by William Bellet, Psy.D.

In Dr. Bellet’s presentation, he will review some of the recent research as well as anecdotal observations related to the impact of heavy technology use. He also promises to provide tips on simple ways to detach from our technology and reconnect with others. Dr. Bellet is a Clinical and Consulting Psychologist specializing in “relationships.” He has been in practice for twenty-five years working with individuals, couples, families, and organizations.

This informative and entertaining talk will take place in Breen Hall (large classroom on the second floor) and is hosted by the House of Blessed John Henry Newman. The pizza lunch will be served at 12:15, with the lecture commencing promptly at 12:30.
