Gerard Manley Hopkins is perhaps the greatest poet of the past two hundred years and, along with T. S. Eliot, is probably the most influential poet of the past century. Joseph Pearce will take us on a trip into the Christian Literary Revival, explaining Hopkins’ importance to the revival and how his poetry is rooted in radical traditionalism.

About Joseph Pearce

Joseph PearceJoseph Pearce, a literary biographer and critic, has been teaching the poetry of Hopkins at college level for fifteen years. The author of more than twenty books, his most recent is Poems Every Catholic Should Know, an anthology of the finest Christian poetry of the past thousand years.
