Join the Center for Faith & Culture on April 17 at 4 p.m. in the Carriage House, for a screening of the Disney classic “Fantasia,” featuring great artwork, animation, and classical music.
“Fantasia,” despite its being almost three quarters of a century old, barely shows its age in production quality and imagination. The film sets eight classical music pieces to animated scenes. The segments range from the abstract animation set to J.S. Bach’s “Toccata and Fugue in D Minor,” to the playful Mickey as “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” by Paul Dukas, to the demon-filled depiction of Modest Mussorgsky’s “Night on Bald Mountain.”
Come join us to see a genuine “classic” of animation!
