<strong>Position:</strong> 12 Months</p>
<p><strong>Summary:</strong> The Director of Residential life oversees the physical, spiritual and emotional welfare of the residential students and the administration of the House Life System for the College. The Director of Residential Life ensures a vibrant Catholic, Dominican residential life that is central to the experience of Aquinas College.</p>
<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2>
<ul>
<li>Coordinate with the College Chaplain, Campus Minister, Director of Student Affairs, and Heads of Houses to create and sustain a full campus life for both residential and non-residential students</li>
<li>Work with security, housekeeping, maintenance and food service as it pertains to the residential experience</li>
<li>Enforce residential life policies</li>
<li>Oversee Housing for summer workshops and classes</li>
<li>Work with the faculty Head of House to form students in living a virtuous life as scholars through worship, activities, intramural sports, competitions between the Houses, community service, and the joy of living in community</li>
<li>Work with Heads of Houses, Residential, and House Assistants to plan and execute the weekly, monthly and yearly events and retreats that mark the liturgical and academic calendar</li>
<li>Oversee the administration of the Houses, including budgets, liturgical life, traditions and activities, rules and regulations, and whatever pertains to the life of the students living on campus.</li>
<li>Presides at all major ceremonies associated with the Houses</li>
<li>Recruit, supervise and evaluate Resident and House Assistants</li>
<li>Work with Aquinas’ Department of Advancement to promote the Residential House system and secure partnerships with local and national agencies that can benefit student life</li>
<li>Meets and reports regularly with the Vice President for Student Life</li>
</ul>
<h2>Requirements</h2>

<li>Practicing Catholic</li>
<li>Commitment to the mission of Aquinas College and to the tradition of the Catholic intellectual tradition in higher education</li>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Preferred</li>
<li>Direct experience in Residential or Student Life Program Management</li>
<li>Proven capacity for teamwork, organization and leadership</li>
<li>Ability to communicate well, verbally, in writing and through social media</li>
<li>Ability to use technology and College informational database</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills with a proven capacity for mediation and conflict resolution</li>

<p><strong>Summary</strong>: The Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management oversees the Offices of Admissions, Financial Aid, and Registrar. The Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management plans, implements and evaluates Aquinas College’s recruiting and retention initiatives; manages scholarship and Financial Aid awarding to ensure access and responsible financial allocation for qualified students; and coordinates with the office of Registrar to provide efficient student services.</p>
<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2>
<p>The responsibilities of the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management include the following:</p>
<ul>
<li>Plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive enrollment management plan (recruitment strategies, inquiry process and conversion, retention, graduation, communications, marketing);</li>
<li>Allocate resources for effective student recruitment from local, regional and national regions;</li>
<li>Manage all aspects of enrollment process from prospect development to yield analysis;</li>
<li>Collaborate with the Vice  President for Academics, Associate Provost, Academic Deans and Directors of Marketing and Communication to create effective School based student recruitment and retention initiatives;</li>
<li>Lead an effective Office of Enrollment that integrates the Offices of Admissions, Financial Aid and Registrar; directly supervise three directors in respective offices;</li>
<li>Strategically plan and manage Financial Aid awarding process; ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional aid;</li>
<li>Oversee the preparation and supervision of the annual budget for the Offices of Admissions, Financial Aid and Registrar;</li>
<li>Supervise the implementation and application of policies and procedures (i.e., best practices, particularly with regard to Federal Funding, FERPA, HIPAA) in respective offices;</li>
<li>Recruit, supervise and evaluate the Directors of the Offices of Admissions, Financial Aid and Registrar;</li>
<li>Coordinate with the Vice President for Student Life for new student orientations and recruitment opportunities for the College;</li>
<li>Prepare reports for the College’s administration and Board of Directors;</li>
<li>Collaborate with the College’s leadership to promote cooperative relations within the local and regional communities;</li>
</ul>
<h2>Requirements</h2>
<ul>
<li>Five years minimum experience in an office of enrollment in higher education with particular strengths in the areas of financial aid and/or admissions;</li>
<li>Commitment to the mission of Aquinas College and to the Catholic intellectual tradition in higher education;</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and writing skills;</li>
<li>Proven capacity for organization, data analysis, strategy;</li>
<li>Ability to maintain confidentiality in work related matters;</li>
<li>Ability to use data to create predictive models of enrollment trends;</li>
<li>Strong problem solving and project management skills;</li>
<li>Experience in managing a budget;</li>
<li>Direct experience in staff leadership, including hiring, training, development, performance reviews, work flow management, staff recognition;</li>
<li>Available to travel and to work some evenings, weekends and holidays as required;</li>
<li>Master’s degree in related fields.</li>

<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<p>MSN required; doctoral degree in nursing or a related field preferred.  Minimum of two years experience in nursing education at undergraduate or graduate level; Unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in Tennessee.</p>
<h3>Duties and Responsibilities</h3>
<p><em>Includes but not limited to the following:</em></p>
<ul>
<li>Supports and implements the policies and procedures of Aquinas College and the School of Nursing in accord with the mission and core values of the College, the Philosophy of the School of Nursing and affiliating agencies.</li>
<li>Serves as instructional faculty, role model, and educational consultant to faculty, preceptors, students, alumni and agency staff.</li>
<li>Develops and implements assigned courses in accord with the curriculum of the specific program.</li>
<li>Coordinates and assesses the outcomes of student learning experiences with other course faculty, clinical faculty, preceptors, graduate students and the affiliating agency.</li>
<li>Identifies and implements learning activities that assist students in integrating theory and practicum experiences in order to master the course and program outcomes.</li>
<li>Supervises students in the practice setting and assists them in fulfilling the outcomes of the learning experience.</li>
<li>Collaborates with course and program faculty in assessing student mastery of identified competencies leading to meeting the course outcomes.</li>
<li>Participates in the academic advising program;</li>
<li>Accepts appointments to committees and task groups of the School of Nursing and of Aquinas College.</li>
