The Aquinas Award for Fiction

3rd Annual Aquinas Award for Fiction

The Center for Faith and Culture at Aquinas College in Nashville Tennessee invites publishers of Christian fiction to submit titles for the Aquinas Award for Fiction.

Any title published since January 1, 2016 qualifies.

Deadline for receipt of all titles is June 1, 2017.

The award will be presented at a conference at Aquinas College on Saturday, September 23, 2017.
Apart from the specially designed plaque, a cash award of $1,000 will be presented to the winning author.

The entries will be judged by a panel of five independent judges appointed by Joseph Pearce, Director of the Center for Faith and Culture. Professor Pearce will not be one of the judges and will have no say in the final decision.

Books should be sent to Joseph Pearce, Director of the Center for Faith and Culture, Aquinas College, 4210 Harding Pike, Nashville, Tennessee 37205.

Michael D. O'BrienThe Center for Faith and Culture at Aquinas College in Nashville Tennessee congratulates Michael D. O’Brien for winning the 2nd annual Aquinas Award for Fiction with his Elijah in Jerusalem (San Francisco: Ignatius, 2015).

The entries were judged by a panel of five independent judges appointed by Joseph Pearce, Director of the Center for Faith and Culture. Professor Pearce was not one of the judges and had no say in the final decision.

First Annual Aquinas Award for Fiction

The inaugural Aquinas Award for Fiction was won by Lucy Beckett with her The Leaves Are Falling (San Francisco: Ignatius, 2014). The award was accepted in her stead by Tony Ryan, Director of Sales and Marketing at Ignatius Press, who read a prepared remarks by Mrs. Beckett.
