The Need for Accessibility

At Aquinas College, our dedication to providing a nurturing learning environment extends to every member of our community. However, without an elevator in our main academic building, a formidable barrier is faced for those with mobility limitations, including faculty, students requiring crutches, and visitors with disabilities.

Faculty members grappling with mobility challenges find it increasingly difficult to navigate the stairs, limiting their ability to fully engage in academic activities. Similarly, students dealing with temporary injuries or disabilities encounter significant obstacles when needing to access classrooms and resources that are located on the second floor.

The Elevate Aquinas campaign seeks to address these pressing needs. With your help, accessibility can be provided for all.

Aquinas College welcomes all students regardless of race, color, ethnicity, or national origin who desire to be part of the faith-based mission of the College to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the College. It does not discriminate based on race, color, ethnicity, or national origin in administration of its education policies, admission policies, scholarships and loan programs.
