ASCD Prayer

Heavenly Father, we thank you for your wonderful gift of teaching. Help us to imitate Jesus, the Master Teacher, who said, "Let the children come to me." May we be an example of holiness to all our students as we introduce them to the beauties and wonders of your creation. Give us wisdom to instill in them a love of truth, compassion to comfort those who are discouraged, humility to acknowledge our mistakes, and grace to be patient with all. Teach us to be mindful of the dignity of each student and open our hearts to receive the lessons you wish to teach us through them. May all we do be for your honor and glory, and for the salvation of the souls you entrust to our care. Amen.
