Student Life

At Aquinas College, we offer something that cannot be measured merely by a catalog of course offerings. Since we are specialists, with a unique focus on the dignity of the human person from an authentic Catholic perspective, we offer something which is rooted in Someone: the person of Jesus Christ, Who has a plan for each of us. All of the resources and activities of the campus are directed to helping our students discover that plan and equipping them with the educational, social, and spiritual support they need to respond generously to God’s call. Our St. Jude Chapel occupies a central location at Aquinas, both in geography and in the hearts of the campus community.

In the Fall of 2012, Aquinas College began offering Residential Life in Seton Lodge. The comprehensive House Life program integrates not only the residential students, but all aspects of Student Life.

Study Abroad

The first official group of the AquinasAbroad program travels to Italy in the Fall 2015 semester. For more information about this opportunity at the Aquinas-owned Villaggio Betania in the medieval town of Bracciano near Rome, visit the AquinasAbroad page.

Campus Activities

The Office of Student Life hosts several social activities throughout the academic year including the annual Fall Festival, Christmas Tree Lighting, Mardi Gras Celebration, and Spring Fling. Students also are encouraged to participate in special charitable events on campus such as blood drives and the Christmas gift drive. Please see the Student Life calendar for a list of upcoming activities.

Athletics & Recreation

Our beautiful 83-acre campus features a softball field, tennis courts, and plenty of green space for volleyball, Frisbee, flag football, and other outdoor recreation.

"I chose Aquinas because of the strong Catholic identity and the fact that it valued the Dominican tradition and, at the same time, it was located in the south in the city of Nashville."

- Mary W.

"I was attracted to Aquinas because it taught the Catholic Faith and had a good nursing program."

- Mary F.

What I appreciate most about student life at Aquinas is the close-knit community in the dorms. It is supportive, academically focused and faith-rooted – and that doesn’t happen just anywhere.

- Gregory S.
