"It is awesome that Aquinas is in Nashville."

- Mary F.

I wanted to attend a college where I would be allowed to freely and fully practice and grow in my faith, while receiving a dynamic, modern nursing education.

- Mary-Frances N.

That first week of getting to know each other and having the camp Marymount experience, you felt instantly in place.

- Ana T.

I have a strong sense of belonging here at Aquinas because I have been accepted, respected, and supported by the Aquinas community. I know that I am not just a number, but a human person wanted and recognized by the school.

- Mary-Frances N.

The house lunches are a huge sense of community, and we genuinely talk to each other regardless of age, station, or ties into the school environment. I think the religious tradition has a lot to do with that.

- Troy B.

My time in Italy was a constant encounter with God through beauty, a beauty found in the landscape, the architecture, the art, the people (the Italians and my classmates and the saints), and in the opportunity to slow down and soak it all in.

What surprised me the most about Aquinas was the Catholic tradition and how everybody practices it at that level. I'd never seen anything like it, even as a cradle Catholic. It was a whole new thing compared how I'd always practiced.

- Jonathan V.

On one of my free days I traveled to Rome very early in the morning. I arrived inside St. Peters before the tourists and allowed the silence of the Basilica’s grandeur to penetrate my being. For an hour, the only sound I heard was that of the consecration bells, the heartbeat of the Church. AquinasAbroad provided me the opportunity to stand in the atrium of the Church, to feel His closeness, and to contemplate His directive to “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations” (Matt. 19).

"I wanted a strong Catholic college with a great Business program. I found them both at Aquinas."

- Scott A.

I belong at Aquinas because it's helped me grow as a person and in my faith and to better know God and better know and love Him. I don't think I'd have had that experience somewhere else or at another college.

- Cinthia J.

The faculty, together with the Dominican Sisters, play a big role in ensuring that my fellow students and I have a very fruitful, and satisfying experience at Aquinas.

- Mary-Frances N.

"I was attracted to Aquinas because it taught the Catholic Faith and had a good nursing program."

- Mary F.

An Aquinas education is not just all about the individual – it is about the community.

- Augusta K.

I've ever had a sister as a teacher. It breaks downs stereotypes and misconceptions about being taught by a sister. They are lovely and intelligent and a reminder of the love that God has for us. They take such a sacrifice but there is such joy in that, and it reminds you that to live for others is the love that this world needs more of.

- Ana T.

In my country, when someone smiles or says hi and you don't know them, it is weird because they only greet you if it is family. So here when strangers do it they are trying to be nice, they are not trying to get anything from you. The South is friendly and I am adjusting to it.

If you want to learn how to think—not only what to think—then Arts & Sciences at Aquinas College is the place to be. It provides a unique environment where you will be able to grow intellectually and spiritually, preparing you for anything the future could bring.

- Arts & Sciences Student

The people are great. It's like more of a family than just a college.

- Troy B.

The residential community creates an environment of peace, love, caring, and tight bonds.

- Gregory S.

Aquinas has made me more aware of callings—a part of the whole person is that everyone has a calling, that everyone is unique and irreplaceable.

- Ana T.

You go to house lunches and it's not just students, it's faculty and administrators eating together, so you get to know them on a personal level. It's like a family dinner.

- Troy B.

We're like a really close-knit community. We all know each other. We come together and truly care. It's not something you find in a bigger college where there are so many people. Here you have the opportunity to get to know everyone personally.

- Cinthia J.

When I got here, everyone already had friends established, but whenever I came in, they were so nice and included me. They welcomed me as if I was part of their family.

- Cinthia J.

Aquinas makes you attentive to the different ways that God leads us to a vocation.

- Ana T.

You have opportunities for daily mass or adoration, or living on campus, three days a week we hold rosary walks and night prayer. You don't find that anywhere else.

- Cinthia J.

What I appreciate most about student life at Aquinas is the close-knit community in the dorms. It is supportive, academically focused and faith-rooted – and that doesn’t happen just anywhere.

- Gregory S.
