CAREER PLANNING
Aquinas College offers many opportunities for students to learn more about their chosen career field and prepare
to enter the workplace:
- Job Vacancy Postings
Many companies send announcements of job opportunities to the Student Affairs Office.
These job listings are posted on the "Jobs Board" located next to the entrance off the student parking lot.
- Career Fairs
Aquinas College participates in a consortium of schools that hosts the annual
"Nashville Area College to Career Fair" and "Nashville Area Teacher Recruitment Fair" here in Nashville.
Aquinas graduates and soon-to-be graduates are invited to attend these spring fairs
to interview with and gather company literature from the 200+ companies and school systems that attend.
No fee is charged to students who participate.
Participants must be juniors or seniors in a bachelor's degree program.
A ticket must be presented for admission (available from Student Affairs).
Visit www.nashvillefairs.org for more information.
- Aquinas College holds Nursing Career Fairs on campus during November and April each year.
Area healthcare agencies and hospitals are invited to campus to interview graduating students and alumni.
All current Aquinas nursing and nursing intent students are invited to attend.

- Career Workshops
During the spring semester, the Office of Student Affairs sponsors resume writing
and interviewing seminars free of charge to enrolled students and alumni.
These seminars are presented by a professional Career Counselor with a vast wealth of knowledge.
