Retreat for Catechists and Catechetical Leaders

Friday, October 12 @ 5:30 pmSaturday, October 13 @ 5:00 pm

The Mystery of God and the Mystery of the Child:
Pondering the Pedagogy of the Good Shepherd

Event: Catechist Retreat at Aquinas College
Date: October 12-13, 2018
Place: Aquinas College, Siena Hall

In order for catechesis to achieve its goal, catechists must come to a deeper understanding of the nature of its content. Equally as important, we must identify and address the nature of the child to whom this content is intended. Master catechists Maria Montessori and Sofia Cavalletti have peered into the mystery of both God and the child. From them we can deepen our own understanding of these two great mysteries.
