WEBINAR “Social-Emotional Learning in the Catholic School”
May 22, 2020 @ 1:00 pm–2:00 pm
Social-Emotional Learning in the Catholic School
Description
Social-Emotional Learning is important. Join the Institute for Catholic Liberal Education Director of School Services, Colleen Richards, for a conversation about the Virtues in Practice program with Sister John Thomas, O.P., Director of Aquinas College Formation Programs.
Knowing and controlling oneself, relating to others, and making good choices are elements of the two great commandments: to love God and our neighbors. Teaching and guiding students to live a life of virtue gives social-emotional learning its eternal context: in God who loves us and lives in us and our communities.
