Dinner Reception Hosted by McFaddens in Arlington, VA

Edward S. McFadden, who serves on the Aquinas College Board of Directors, recently organized a reception for Aquinas College on the east coast. Ed and his wife Beth hosted this event at their home in Arlington, Virginia on January 22. Sister Cecilia Anne, O.P., President of Aquinas College, was joined by Aquinas faculty member Sister Michaela, O.P. and Aquinas alumni Sister Mary Celeste, O.P. and Sister Albertine, O.P., to visit with attendees. The McFaddens prepared delectable appetizers and a delicious dinner buffet, which were thoroughly enjoyed by all.

A strong common theme united everyone present—all are strong supporters of Catholic education, valuing the treasure provided by the solid spiritual, intellectual, and human formation imparted by excellent Catholic schools.

The vision of Aquinas College is to be a leader in the formation of educators who are sent forth to teach, preach, and witness to Truth and Charity for the salvation of souls and the transformation of culture. Graduates of Aquinas serve in Catholic schools around the country and around the world, bringing Christ to students near and far.

The mission of Aquinas is supported in various ways by many who share a common commitment to the value of Catholic education. We are grateful to Ed and Beth for hosting this lovely evening and to all those who attended this special event.

Aquinas College welcomes all students regardless of race, color, ethnicity, or national origin who desire to be part of the faith-based mission of the College to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the College.
