Mass for the Deceased — Aquinas College - Nashville, Tennessee

Mass for the Deceased

Posted on Thursday, December 9, 2021

On November 15th, Aquinas College celebrated a Mass for the repose of the souls of deceased members of the Aquinas community. The Mass took place in Saint Jude Chapel. Father Mark Chrismer was the main celebrant and homilist for this Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

This year marks the celebration of the 60th anniversary of Aquinas College. In its sixty-year history, Aquinas College has maintained the same central focus: a desire to serve the Church by forming individuals prepared to be witnesses to Truth and Charity. As we express gratitude for the blessings of the past sixty years, we also recognize the many faithful faculty, staff, Board members, alumni, and benefactors who have made the past six decades possible. We offer special prayers for those who are now deceased, that they may be granted the promised inheritance of the children of God and be brought to the joy of eternal life.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
