Seeking Truth Through the Liberal Arts

At Aquinas College, the liberal arts are more than a collection of academic disciplines. They are a path to wisdom. Rooted in the Catholic intellectual tradition and inspired by the example of St. Thomas Aquinas, our Arts & Sciences programs invite students to explore the enduring questions of human life and to discover the unity of truth through the integration of faith and reason.

Through the study of literature, history, philosophy, theology, and the broader liberal arts, students develop the habits of thought, communication, and reflection necessary for lives of leadership, service, and faithful witness in the Church and the world.

Why Study the Liberal Arts?

Think Clearly

Develop critical thinking, analysis, and communication skills that prepare you to engage complex questions with understanding and confidence.

Seek Truth

Integrate faith and reason as you explore enduring questions and discover the unity of truth across disciplines.

Lead with Purpose

Prepare for service, graduate study, ministry, education, and meaningful work grounded in wisdom and integrity.

At the heart of every Bachelor of Arts degree is a shared core curriculum designed to cultivate intellectual curiosity, moral reasoning, and an appreciation for the rich heritage of Western civilization and the Catholic intellectual tradition. Students complete a common core curriculum while pursuing focused study in a major and minor area, allowing them to develop both breadth of knowledge and depth of expertise.
