Family Literacy Night 2024

Posted on Friday, November 1, 2024

The School of Education Literacy Center held its 5th Annual Family Literacy Night on October 24, 2024. Families visited fourteen literacy stations led by local Catholic school teachers, Aquinas teacher candidates, Aquinas alumni, and Aquinas faculty members. The theme for this year was art and music in picture books. Children had the opportunity to participate in various art projects. Music played by several of the Sisters filled the Aquinas Center. The event’s purpose is to encourage families to read together and bring books to life through activities, art and songs. At the end of the night, each child got to bring home a book from the book table.
