The Sister Mary Leonard Scholarship

We celebrate Sister Mary Leonard, O.P., as she marks her Diamond Jubilee, commemorating an extraordinary 75 years in religious life. Sister Mary Leonard has been a cornerstone of the Aquinas College community, dedicating over three decades of her life to the institution she helped establish. From the founding of Aquinas College in 1961 until she departed Aquinas in 1994, Sister Mary Leonard’s contributions have left an indelible mark on the college and its many generations of students.

Sister Mary Leonard is remembered fondly for the life lessons she imparted both inside and outside the classroom. Her genuine love and concern for each student created a nurturing environment that fostered both personal and academic growth.
