The Tennessee Independent Colleges and Universities Association (TICUA) Meets at Aquinas

The Tennessee Independent Colleges and Universities Association (TICUA) held its final meeting of year for its Executive Leadership Institute (ELI) at Aquinas College on May 13^th. During their final meeting, the 2025 ELI class held its graduation ceremony to mark the conclusion of the year-long program designed for administrators of Tennessee’s private colleges to strengthen their executive leadership knowledge and skills. Sister Cecilia Anne Wanner, OP, President of Aquinas College, delivered an address to the graduating class, welcoming all present and remarking on the roles of executive leadership in higher education. Sister Cecilia Anne concluded by thanking the graduates of the TICUA ELI Class of 2025 for “choosing to lead—with purpose, with courage, and with a deep commitment to the values of higher education.”
 
Alumni of the TICUA ELI program from Aquinas College include Dr. Bill Smart (Class of 2019) and Sister Mary Edith, O.P. (Class of 2023).
