No. Through the years, Aquinas has sought to be responsive to the needs of the Church and the local community, as manifested in the various programs of study that have been offered. Currently, Aquinas College recognizes the Church’s urgent need for well-formed educators and has responded by intensifying its focus on the mission upon which it was founded: the preparation of Catholic teachers. We offer our students a holistic, human formation in the liberal arts as well as professional formation to prepare them to serve as Catholic educators.

No. The majority of our students are Dominican Sisters studying for their degrees, but the sisters are also joined by lay students who share in our mission. Aquinas College accepts interested and qualified students to its degree and certification programs, recognizing the appeal and relevance of this Dominican formation and professional preparation for the field of education. Aquinas College admits qualified students of any race, color, ethnicity, or national origin who desire to be part of the faith-based mission of the College to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the College. It does not discriminate based on race, color, ethnicity, or national origin in administration of its education policies, admission policies, scholarships and loan programs.
