Dante Among the Poets Presented by Dr. Philip Phillips Dr. Phillips will focus on Dante as a poet and his self-fashioning as such in the Commedia and elsewhere. He will also give special attention to Dante the Pilgrim’s relationship with his guide and poetic master, Virgil, as well as with Beatrice. Open to the public.
