New Academic Dean Announced

Sister Marie Hannah Seiler, O.P., new Dean of the School of Education

We welcome back to Aquinas College Sister Marie Hannah Seiler, O.P. as the new Dean of the School of Education. Sister Marie Hannah comes to us from Elizabethtown, Kentucky, where she served for six years as principal. Sister Marie Hannah has already embraced the duties of her new position with great openness and love for the mission of our college.

Sister graduated from Aquinas College in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and holds a license in elementary education. She earned a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Christian Brothers University in Memphis in 2008 and earned her Master in Theological Studies from Providence College in 2015.  She has most recently served as a K-8 school principal for 12 years in Tennessee and Kentucky where her primary responsibilities included observing teachers and helping them grow in their craft, facilitating curriculum development and implementation, and ensuring the school’s operational vitality and its vibrant Catholic culture.
