Aquinas College Receives National Recognition for Catholic Identity

Posted on Monday, September 30, 2019

Aquinas College has again been chosen by the National Catholic Register for inclusion in the Catholic Identity College Guide for 2019, released this September.

The Catholic Identity College Guide features colleges and universities faithful to the Magisterium as outlined in St. John Paul II’s apostolic constitution, Ex Corde Ecclesiae

Colleges included in the guide fill out a questionnaire about their current practices, such as requiring the Oath of Fidelity and the mandatum for Catholic theology professors, and affirming the Catholicity of the majority of members on the board of directors and college faculty.

Aquinas College is also pleased to be included in the 2019 Newman Guide to Choosing a Catholic College, featured among U.S. Non-Residential, International, and Online Institutions.
