World Youth Day in Kraków

A group of Aquinas College students will travel to Kraków, Poland for the 2016 World Youth Day, a large Catholic youth gathering occurring about every three years, attended by the pope. The trip was made possible by donations from our generous benefactors through crowdfunding, car washes, and food sales. World Youth Day occurs July 26–31. Prayer with the Relics of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati

At 3 p.m. (8 a.m. CDT) on Wednesday, July 27, as a part of World Youth Day, the Aquinas College students will lead prayers with the relics of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, the patron of campus ministry, in the Dominican Church of the Holy Trinity. Pier Giorgio's body is traveling from its home in the cathedral in Turin, Italy, with several stops before its final destination of Krakow's World Youth Day.
