St. Thomas Aquinas Week

On January 27-30, Aquinas College will host a week of festivities to honor and celebrate our patron, Saint Thomas Aquinas.

Beginning Monday, January 27 at 11:20 a.m., Aquinas students, faculty, and staff are invited to bring their lunch to Room 112 for a Brown Bag Mini-Lecture of “Charity in the Blessed: The Perfection of Love” presented by the President of Aquinas College, Sr. Cecilia Anne Wanner, O.P.

On Tuesday, January 28 at 11 :00 a.m. the Mass of St. Thomas Aquinas will be held in the St. Jude Chapel of the Aquinas Main building with Fr. Thomas Petri, O.P. as the celebrant and homilist. After which a lunch will be held in Breen Hall. (An R.S.V.P. will be requested for the lunch.)

On Wednesday, January 29 at 11:20 a.m. in Room 112, Aquinas students, faculty and staff are invited to bring their lunch for a Brown Bag Mini-Lecture on “Mission: Invisible. Grace and Divine Presence in the Theology of Saint Thomas Aquinas.”  by Sr. Lucia Marie Siemering, O.P.

At 11:35 a.m. on Thursday, January 30, Aquinas students, faculty, and staff are invited to bring their lunch to the first floor of Siena Hall to wrap up the festivities with a social event featuring the student ensemble, Not-so-Irish Band.
